2009 .... "To Do" List & Wishlists

2009 ....

I wouldn't want to make it a New Year's Resolution List but something contrary to it ...

"To Do" List

- get a new family home to live

- get a new car or at least a pre-owned one

- expand FilmAsia to new territories

- full commitment towards stills photography with jonraj photoart

- secure monthly projects (film & photo)

- enroll Christian in a pre-school

- assist my wife in her cake biz (T-Cakes)

- bestow the sovereign title of "Tai Tai" on my wife

- community service

2008 .... An Eventful Year

2008 didn't start off well for me and looks the ending isn't any better either. I have gone through the deepest of my life and have some how managed to survive. I truly believe that whatever that cannot kill you will only make you stronger.

The List of The Downside :

- jobless for 13 months (a recurring event from April 2007)

- office got broken in and laptop stolen 

- my favourite dog died of jaundice 

- my long time companion (dog) died of old age

- my friendship with a close friend weared off (business and pleasure don't mix combo)

- back to the no job status for 8 months

- confirmed projects got cancelled due to the global recession awareness

- a virus wriggled through my Macbook and completely deleted my contents and all back ups in my Time Capsule (all work, pictures, leisure stuff simply wiped out)

- my car caught fire and perished

The Good Events :

- finally got a job that has resurrected my financial appetite

- managed to settle off my car (as in no financial commitments with the banks)

- went for a holiday Down Under with my family and to celebrate Christian's 2nd birthday

- managed to fulfill part of my wishlist

- got back with my wife and family

- had a fun trip across the Causeway

- had a dizzy road swerving trip up to Cameron's

- polished a lot on my photography (with great help from Nikon, Aperture and MacBook Pro)

- a heart warming X'mas Eve dinner with the most important beings in my life .... Terri and Christian

- "Shopping Till You Drop" experience

- attended a Christmas Church service with Terri and Christian

 

A New Chapter in My Life ... Blogging

I always wonder of what's so great, good or rather am baffled with blogging, bloggers or the community of blogworld ..... As I took some time off to go through certain blogs, I come to terms that this how people in the modern era express their joy, grievances, frustrations, emotional loud-hailing and howling !!

I am inspired by certain parties to start this sect, nevertheless to express myself in good order and practice the freedom of speech ethically. I don't want to be detained against my will should one try to smother me. 

This blog will be of the truth and true events.
